Our Commitment to Accessibility
Arcusis holds the position that digital accessibility is a fundamental right, not an optional enhancement. As an Israeli software development company, we are subject to the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act, 5758-1998, and the Accessibility of Service Regulations, 5773-2013, which impose affirmative obligations on service providers to ensure that digital services are accessible to persons with disabilities. We take these obligations seriously and have designed arcusis.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized technical benchmark for web accessibility.
In addition to our obligations under Israeli law, we acknowledge the rights of users located in the European Union under Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (the Web Accessibility Directive), and we aspire to meet its standards as applied to private-sector entities providing services to EU residents. We further recognize the principles established by Section 508 of the United States Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the European standard EN 301 549, which sets functional accessibility requirements for information and communications technology in Europe.
Our commitment to accessibility is not static. We understand that conformance is an ongoing process, not a one-time achievement. We continuously audit, test, and improve the accessibility of our website, and we aspire to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AAA criteria wherever reasonably practicable. We believe that every person, regardless of ability, disability, age, or technology, deserves equal access to the information and services we provide.
Applicable Legal Framework
The primary legal framework governing accessibility of arcusis.com is the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act, 5758-1998 (the "Disabilities Act"), which establishes the right of persons with disabilities to equal participation in all aspects of life, including access to digital services. The Accessibility of Service Regulations, 5773-2013, enacted pursuant to the Disabilities Act, impose specific obligations on service providers to make their digital services accessible, and define technical standards by reference to WCAG 2.0 and subsequent versions.
For users located in the European Union, the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive 2016/2102/EU) provides an additional framework requiring that websites and mobile applications be accessible in accordance with the harmonized standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1, which incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the applicable technical specification. We acknowledge these standards in designing and maintaining this website for EU visitors, even though, as a private-sector entity, we are not formally within the scope of the Directive in all member states.
The technical standard we apply to all our accessibility work is WCAG 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 organizes its success criteria under four principles: content must be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (the "POUR" principles). Our target conformance level is Level AA, which we believe provides meaningful accessibility to the broadest range of users and assistive technologies, while we continue to pursue Level AAA criteria in areas where they can be achieved without disproportionate burden.
Conformance Status
Arcusis is committed to substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have conducted internal accessibility reviews of arcusis.com, the most recent of which was completed in February 2026. We conduct reviews on a rolling basis as new content is published and as the site is updated.
We characterize our current conformance status as "partially conforms," meaning that some parts of the content may not yet fully satisfy all WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria. We are actively working to address known gaps and to ensure that each new feature or content update meets our accessibility standards before publication. Our development workflow incorporates accessibility review as a mandatory step prior to deployment.
We are aware that accessibility conformance is never a fully static state. Browser and assistive technology updates, new content, and evolving standards all require continued attention. We are committed to treating accessibility as an integral part of our engineering culture, not as a compliance checkbox. If you discover a failure of conformance that we have not identified, we ask that you bring it to our attention so that we may remediate it promptly.
Accessibility Features We Provide
We have invested significantly in equipping arcusis.com with a comprehensive suite of accessibility features designed to address the needs of users with a wide range of disabilities. The following paragraphs describe these features by functional category.
With respect to visual adjustments, every page of arcusis.com includes a floating accessibility widget that is permanently available to users. Through this widget, users may increase or decrease the font size rendered on the page to improve readability to their personal preference. Users may activate a high contrast mode, which enhances the contrast ratio between foreground text and background surfaces to assist persons with low vision, photosensitivity, or certain visual impairments. A link highlighting option visually underscores and differentiates all hyperlinks on a page, making them easier to identify for users who have difficulty distinguishing linked text from body text. In addition, a site-wide dark mode toggle allows users to switch to a low-luminance color scheme, which reduces eye strain in low-light conditions and is beneficial to users with certain visual sensitivities.
With respect to cognitive accessibility aids, the widget provides a readable font switch that replaces decorative typefaces with a high-legibility sans-serif alternative, simplifying the visual presentation for users who benefit from reduced typographic complexity. For users with dyslexia, the widget offers the OpenDyslexic font option. OpenDyslexic is a typeface purpose-designed to increase readability for persons with dyslexia by weighting the bottom of each character, reducing the tendency of letters to appear to rotate or reverse. A text spacing control allows users to increase letter spacing and word spacing, further improving readability for users with certain reading disabilities or attention difficulties. A reading guide bar, which is a horizontal line that follows the user's cursor or keyboard focus, assists users in tracking their current position when reading long passages of text, reducing cognitive load for users who experience difficulty following lines of text.
With respect to motor accessibility, the floating widget provides a large cursor option that replaces the default system cursor with an enlarged version, benefiting users who have difficulty visually locating a small cursor due to tremors, motor impairments, or low contrast. An animation pause control allows users to suspend all animated content and motion effects across the entire site with a single interaction. This feature is critical for users with vestibular disorders, attention-related conditions, or photosensitive epilepsy, who may experience discomfort or harm from moving elements.
With respect to technical implementation, keyboard navigation is supported throughout arcusis.com. All interactive elements — including navigation menus, form fields, buttons, modal dialogs, and links — are fully operable by keyboard alone, without requiring a pointing device. Focus order is logical and follows the visual presentation of the page. A skip to main content link is rendered at the top of each page and becomes visible when focused via keyboard, allowing keyboard users and screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation and proceed directly to the page's primary content. All images carry descriptive alternative text attributes, enabling screen reader users to access visual information. Interactive elements are annotated with ARIA labels, roles, and states, ensuring that assistive technologies can accurately convey the purpose and status of each control to the user. Our semantic HTML structure uses appropriate landmark elements, headings in a logical hierarchy, and form labeling practices that are compatible with screen readers. Focus is managed within modal dialogs to prevent keyboard and screen reader users from escaping into underlying page content while a dialog is open. The website fully supports right-to-left text rendering for Hebrew, ensuring that users of the Hebrew interface experience a layout and reading order consistent with the conventions of RTL languages.
Technical Compatibility
Arcusis.com is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. We test on both desktop and mobile viewport configurations. We do not guarantee full functionality on browsers that are more than two major versions behind the current stable release, as such browsers may not support modern web standards required for accessible rendering.
The website has been designed and tested for compatibility with the following categories of assistive technology. In the category of screen readers, we test compatibility with NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) on Windows, JAWS (Job Access With Speech) on Windows, and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. Users of other screen readers, including TalkBack on Android, should expect broadly equivalent functionality given our commitment to semantic HTML and ARIA labeling. In the category of screen magnification, the site has been designed so that content remains operable and readable when magnified to 400% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling, in conformance with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.4.10 (Reflow). In the category of speech recognition, the site has been designed so that all interactive elements are reachable and operable via speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Keyboard-only navigation is fully supported throughout the site, and all functionality available via mouse is equally available via keyboard.
We acknowledge that the intersection of different assistive technologies, operating systems, and browsers can produce varied results, and that no website can be guaranteed to operate identically across every combination. We encourage users to report any compatibility issues they encounter, and we commit to investigating and remediating reported issues promptly.
Limitations and Known Issues
Despite our best efforts, certain content on arcusis.com may have accessibility limitations. We are committed to transparency regarding known issues and to providing alternatives where accessibility barriers cannot be immediately resolved.
Third-party embedded content, including but not limited to Google Maps iframes used on our contact page, may present accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. The accessibility of such embedded content is the responsibility of the respective third-party providers, and we cannot guarantee that it meets the standards we have adopted for our own content. Where third-party content presents a known barrier, we seek to provide equivalent information through accessible alternatives on the same page. If you encounter a third-party component on our site that you are unable to access with your assistive technology, please contact us and we will provide the information in an alternative format.
We are aware that certain animated visual effects used as part of the site's design presentation may not satisfy WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 2.3.3 (Animation from Interactions) at Level AAA, which recommends eliminating motion triggered by interaction. We provide the animation pause control described above as a Level AA-conformant mitigation, and we are working toward further reducing gratuitous motion in our design system.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of arcusis.com from all users. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, if a feature described in this policy is not functioning as described, or if you require content in an alternative format, please contact us. We commit to acknowledging accessibility feedback within two business days and to providing a substantive response, including a description of any remediation steps we will take, within a reasonable time thereafter.
You may contact us regarding accessibility by email at info@arcusis.com, by telephone at 058-469-6000, or through our contact page. When reporting an accessibility issue, we ask that you provide, to the extent possible, the URL of the specific page on which you encountered the issue, a description of the barrier or difficulty, the name and version of the browser and assistive technology you were using, and the operating system on which you were operating. This information will assist us in reproducing and addressing the issue.
Under Israeli law, persons with disabilities have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities within the Israeli Ministry of Justice if they believe their rights under the Disabilities Act or the Accessibility Regulations have been infringed. This statutory right exists independently of any internal complaint process we provide, and we support its exercise.
Formal Complaints Procedure
If you have raised an accessibility concern with us and are not satisfied with the response you received, you may escalate the matter by sending a written complaint to us at the following address: Arcusis, Millennia Tower, The 1000 Complex, Entrance B, 18th Floor, 23 HaRishonim Blvd, Rishon LeZion 7519701, Israel, or by email to info@arcusis.com with the subject line "Accessibility Complaint." We will treat formal complaints with priority and will endeavor to respond with a final position within ten business days.
Under Israeli law, if our internal process does not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may contact the Commissioner for Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities at the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel. The Commissioner is empowered to investigate complaints, issue guidance, and, in appropriate cases, refer matters for enforcement. Contact details for the Commissioner are available on the Israeli Ministry of Justice website.
For users located in the European Union, if you believe that our website does not comply with applicable accessibility requirements, you may contact the relevant national accessibility enforcement body in your member state of residence. The competent enforcement body varies by member state and is typically identified on the national transposition legislation or the government accessibility portal of each member state. Contacting us directly in the first instance will generally enable the fastest resolution, but your right to contact the national enforcement body is unconditional.
